However, there are some notable changes: the Bolt EUV has a 2.9-inch longer wheelbase, 3.1-inches more rear legroom and 6.3-inches more inches in total length.

There’s still only one powertrain available for both the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV, a single electric motor sending 200 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels. That number shouldn’t be surprising for Bolt EV fans, because it’s a carryover from the today’s model. So feeding that motor is a 65 kWh battery, though the range shrinks to 250 miles.

Charging might become easier for folks snagging a 2022 Bolt EV or EUV. Chevrolet is including a dual-level charging cable with the upcoming Bolt EUV and it can be optioned into your Bolt EV purchase. This new cable allows owners to plug into a standard 120-volt three-prong outlet and a 240-volt outlet to charge at the same 7.2 kilowatts of a level 2 charger.
